Conditions we handle

Depression
About: Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent sadness, low energy, loss of interest, and feelings of hopelessness. It can impact daily functioning and relationships. What We Do: We provide a personalized treatment plan combining psychotherapy (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy) and medication management to alleviate symptoms, restore motivation, and improve quality of life.

Mood Disorders
About: Mood disorders, including bipolar disorder, involve intense emotional highs (mania) and lows (depression) that affect mood stability and daily functioning. What We Do: Treatment includes mood-stabilizing medications and supportive therapy focused on managing mood swings, preventing relapse, and helping clients achieve emotional balance.

Psychotic Disorders
About: These disorders, like schizophrenia, affect perception and thinking, causing symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thought patterns. What We Do: We use integrated treatment combining antipsychotic medications, therapy, and psychosocial support to manage symptoms, improve insight, and enhance social and occupational functioning.

Neurodevelopmental Disorders
About: Conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder often begin in childhood and affect learning, behavior, and social interactions. What We Do: Our approach includes behavioral therapies, skills training, and medication when appropriate to improve attention, reduce impulsivity, and support social and cognitive development.

Neurocognitive Disorders
About: These disorders, including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, involve progressive cognitive decline impacting memory, thinking, and daily living skills. What We Do: We focus on symptom management through medications, cognitive support, and caregiver education to maintain functioning and quality of life for as long as possible.

Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders
About: These arise from exposure to traumatic or stressful events, leading to symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, and emotional distress. PTSD is a common example. What We Do: Trauma-informed therapies such as EMDR or CBT, combined with medication when needed, help clients process trauma, reduce distress, and build coping skills.

Substance and Addictive Disorders
About: These disorders involve dependence on substances or behaviors that negatively affect health and daily life. What We Do: We offer integrated care including counseling, behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment when appropriate, and relapse prevention strategies to support long-term recovery.
